Amazing $30 Map-Making Software Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream
Following a brief run back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle has returned for a limited time that lasts until Dec. 2. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package carries a value of more than thirteen hundred dollars. Primary Feature
The standout feature is definitely permanent access for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard mapping application which enables users to create everything from epic fantasy landscapes, smaller regional maps, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels
Entry Level
The most affordable option, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Token Treasury: Monsters 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for existing CC3+ users, but it does offer fresh fantasy design elements for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens for use in virtual tabletops, over twenty-five top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Intermediate Package
The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting through inclusion of permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from ProFantasy's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from multiple angles. Meanwhile, the Mapping Tome is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.

All 17 volumes of Cartographer's Annual are included here, plus numerous additional tools and content enabling creators to craft complete solar systems, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: combat arenas, dungeons, cities, and continents in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character portraits. For $30 as opposed to $15, the full bundle is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly an even better deal for map-making newbies since it includes the beginners' tutorials to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though the purchase is available across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
Philanthropic Aspect
As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase supports charitable organizations. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, but you can also select any amount for a donation in the right-hand section. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, allowing you to adjust the distribution percentage allocated between the platform, developer, and charity.
